Directions from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Windsor Hills

Take care driving when you first arrive, it may be dark and the signs will be unfamiliar. It’s a good idea to have a navigator to help spot for you.

The tollbooths are arranged with electronic passes on the left and pay booths on the right. Toll fees are between 75cents and $1.50 and you can pay cash and get change in the manned booths in the right-hand lanes. Be aware that if you do leave a toll road at an exit before the end, it may have an unmanned coin toll booth. The fees are usually in multiples of 25cents, so make sure you have coins handy.

Try to keep pace with the traffic flows, it makes changing lanes easier.

On leaving the car rental facilities via North exit join the 528 (formerly Beeline) signs for Tampa, (westbound).

Follow the 528 through two tollbooths. There are no more tollbooths on this route.

Take the I4 west toward Tampa for 5 miles. Turn right on the slip road 192 west, (Irlo Bronsen Highway), junction 75C.

Merge with the 192 and filter toward the leftlanes as you will be turning left on state route 545, Old Lake Wilson in 2 miles.

Turn left on the filter light onto Old Lake Wilson, follow the road for 1 mile and you will find Windsor Hills on the right hand side.

On leaving the car rental facilities via South exit down Boggy Creek Road, turn right (West) on I417 toll road, you will pass two tollbooths each costing 1.50 dollar. The booths on the right side are attended and you can pay and receive change. The left side are automated fast pass lanes.

Leave 417 at Junction 3, Osceola Parkway, Gaylord Palms exit. You will need to pay 75cents at an unattended automatic toll both. This only takes coins, you can get change at the preceding toll booths, if necessary; make sure you have them ready.

Turn right at the bottom of the exit road onto Osceola Parkway, head west. Follow Osceola Parkway, over the I4 and into the Disney Area.

Go off on Slip Road on right on to World Drive, sign posted to 192. Drive south on World Drive 1mile and turn on to 192 West signposted to 27. Join I192 and go for 1 mile.

Immediately past traffic lights for Reedy Creek move to left lane and prepare to turn left at next traffic lights, OLD LAKE WILSON, SR545.

Windsor Hills Resort is on right, approx. one mile. This route has much lighter traffic than the 528 and is to be preferred.

Directions from Sanford Airport (SFB) to Windsor Hills

Leave Sanford Airport following the 417 Central Florida Greeneway. You will pass several tollbooths. The booths on the right side are attended and you can pay and receive change. The left side are automated fast pass lanes.

Follow the 417 until you reach the 192. Leave 417 at Junction 3, Osceola Parkway, Gaylord Palms exit. You will need to pay 50cents at an unattended automatic toll both. This only takes coins, you can get change at the preceding toll booths, if necessary; make sure you have them ready.

Turn right at the bottom of the exit road onto Osceola Parkway, head west.

Follow Osceola Parkway, over the I4 and into the Disney Area. Go off on Slip Road on right on to World Drive, sign posted to 192.

Drive south on World Drive 1mile and turn on to 192 West signposted to 27.
